When I was little, my parents used to buy bags of spiral cheese sticks in Costco. Until my family worried that the cheese sticks might contain too many calorie, we stopped purchasing it. As far as I can recall, the cracker has layers and burnt cheddar cheese. I love the smell of burnt cheese, but not the calories of course. Now I replace the possible ingredient, butter, which creates layers, with olive oils. Ingredient Cookie Dough 250g All purpose flour 60ml Olive Oil 60ml Cold water 1 egg 2 teaspoons of salt 1 table spoon of basil a pinch of pepper a pinch of garlic powder 1 table spoon of grated cheddar cheese For glazing A lot of grated cheese beaten egg Procedure 1. In a clean, big bowl, mix everything( for cookie dough) together with a spatula and you get a dough. 2. Cover the dough with a wrapper and store it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. 3. Knead the dough with some extra flour. Knead it until it's about 0.2mm thin. 4. Use a knife, and cut the dough into width 2cm, length 10cm rectangles. 5. Use your fingers, pinch the two ends of a cookie dough. One end turns clockwise, the other end will be the other way round. Roll the flat cookie dough into spiral shape. 6. Place the spiral cookies on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200C. 7. Glaze the spiral cookies with beaten egg and sprinkle grated cheese on the surface. 8. Bake the cheese sticks in 200C for 30 minutes, or until they turn golden. | 材料 餅乾麵糰 中筋麵粉250克 橄欖油60毫升 冷開水60毫升 蛋1顆 鹽2茶匙 羅勒葉1大匙 胡椒1撮 大蒜粉1撮 切達起司絲1大匙 刷表面 很多起司絲 打散的蛋液 步驟 1.在一個乾淨的大碗中將所有材料(餅乾麵糰)全部用塑膠刮刀辦在一起,就得到餅乾麵糰了。 2. 保鮮膜蓋上麵糰,放冰箱靜至至少30分鐘。 3. 用份量外的手粉擀麵糰。擀到0.2mm這麼薄。 4. 用刀子切麵糰,切出寬2cm長10cm的長方形。 5. 用你的手指捏住長方形麵糰的兩邊,一邊順時針一邊反方向轉。將扁的餅乾轉成螺旋狀。 6. 將螺旋餅乾鋪在有烤紙的烤盤上。烤箱預熱到200度C。 7. 螺旋餅乾表面刷上蛋液,並在表面灑上起司絲。 8. 起司棒以200度C烤30分鐘,或是烤至金黃色即可。 |
