I have been making my blog very christmassy since early December, and now Christmas is finally around the corner, only 4 days to go! It's not that I'm into Christmas, but festivals always inspire creativity. (So I can always get something to write about. (!) )This time I use my own illustration in the background. Last week I have ordered customized dining sheet with my little foxes, but it didn't make it on time. As for Christmas tree cookies, I intended to make Christmas figures, as the one at right front. But I didn't have Christmas tree figures as I did for the cat cookies. I thought I could just cut the dough by my magical hands, but no, too sticky. I gave up and chose plain square cutter, but my mom found me a Christmas tree cookie stamp! Now the cookies look a bit like chessman from Pepperidge Farm, but if I wanted a more caramel-color figures, I might have to glaze some egg white or sugars on the figures. Perhaps I can try it next time. And here we go: Ingredients: 50 grams of unsalted butter 25 grams of sugar 1 egg 1 drop of vanilla extract 110 grams of all-purpose flour (sifted) 20 grams of milk powder Bittersweet chocolate and almond crumbs -- optional Preparation: 1. Whisk the softened unsalted butter with sugar and salt. 2. Add one egg and whisk again. 3. Add the filtered flour, milk powder and Matcha powder into the butter mixture. The dough is done. 4. Put the dough in the fridge for 1 hour. 5. Cut the dough with figure models. I happened to have a Christmas tree figure, so I cut the dough into squares, and stamp Christmas trees on them. 6. Preheat the oven for 160C, and bake the cookies for 15 minutes. 7. Before the cookies are cooled down, melt bittersweet chocolate, and bake almond crumbs for 3 minutes. 8. Dip cookies with chocolate, and sprinkle almonds over the chocolate coating. Wait till the coating becomes solid. | 聖誕誕樹餅乾呢,我原本是想要做各種聖誕形狀的,就像圖片右前方那塊。但我沒有聖誕樹造型壓膜,像平常做貓咪餅乾那樣。我私以為可以用我的巧手直接用刀子劃麵團,但麵團實在太黏了。我想放棄聖誕造型,所以選了普普通通的正方形壓膜,但是我媽幫我找到餅乾用的聖誕樹印章!壓過後餅乾就有點像Pepperidge Farm的西洋棋餅乾,不過要像這牌子一樣有焦糖色的凸起圖案的話,我可能還要在圖案上刷上蛋白或是糖衣吧?也許下次可以試試看。現在來做今天這種的: 材料: 無鹽奶油50克 砂糖 25克 全蛋 1顆 香草精 1滴 低筋麵粉(過篩)110克 奶粉20克 苦甜巧克力和杏仁角,份量隨意 步驟: 1. 將軟化的無鹽奶油跟糖、鹽打至混合。 2. 加入蛋之後繼續打。 3. 將過篩後的麵粉、奶粉、跟抹茶粉加入奶油團。 麵團完成。 4. 將麵團放入冰箱一小時。 5. 用模型切出餅乾。我剛好有聖誕樹造型的模,所以我先把餅乾切成正方形,再壓上聖誕樹圖案。 6. 將烤箱預熱至160度C,烤15分鐘。 7. 餅乾冷卻之前,來融化苦甜巧克力,烤杏仁角三分鐘左右。 8. 餅乾沾巧克力,撒上杏仁角,最後等到巧克力變硬即可。 |
